The Awori Development Union (ADUN) has called on all eligible Awori indigenes to actively participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In a statement issued by its National Executives, the union noted that the third and final phase of the CVR, which commenced on Monday, May 11, 2026, will run until Friday, July 10, 2026.

ADUN emphasised that the exercise provides a critical opportunity for:
Citizens who have attained 18 years to register,
Those who missed previous phases to register,
Eligible voters to update or regularise their voter information.
The union stressed that political relevance, effective representation, and sustainable development of Aworiland are directly linked to the level of participation of its people in the democratic process.
“Voting remains one of the most powerful tools available to every citizen. It enables us to influence policies, elect credible leaders, protect indigenous interests, and ensure that the needs of our communities receive the attention they deserve,” the statement read.

The group urged all Awori sons and daughters youths, women, professionals, artisans, traders, and community stakeholders to take advantage of this final phase to register.
ADUN also called on already registered voters to sensitise their family members, friends, and neighbours on the importance of voter registration and active electoral participation.
“Register. Participate. Vote. Protect Awori Interests,” the union declared.
