Kidnappers holding Mrs. Alani, the Principal of one of the schools attacked in Ogbomoso, have released a new video in which she clarifies their demands.
In the video, which surfaced on Tuesday, Mrs. Alani stated that the abductors are not demanding ransom payment or the implementation of Sharia law, contrary to earlier speculations.

Instead, the kidnappers are demanding the release of their members currently imprisoned by the government.
The development comes amid growing tension and public concern over the prolonged captivity of the abducted teachers and pupils in the Oyo State area.
Security agencies are yet to issue an official statement on the latest video, but efforts to secure the safe release of all victims are said to be ongoing.
