Mr. Fred Newton Erhunmunse has emerged as the Chairman of the Edo State Football Association, and Governor Godwin Obaseki has extended his congratulations. The governor’s statement highlights the democratic process of the election and expresses confidence in Erhunmunse’s ability to lead the Edo FA to greater achievements

Governor Obaseki specially encouraged the new FA chairman to utilize his experience for the growth of football, both at grassroots and professional levels, emphasizing the importance of fostering the sport’s development within the state.
