President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigerians to remain steadfast in their commitment to the country’s progress, even as they face criticism, governance challenges, and differing opinions on leadership.
In a message aimed at fostering national resilience, the President acknowledged that constructive criticism is not only welcome but essential for effective leadership and sustainable development. He emphasised that accountability and public scrutiny remain vital pillars of a thriving democracy.

However, President Tinubu cautioned against allowing criticism to breed despair or erode confidence in Nigeria’s future.
“Citizens have every right to question government actions, challenge policies, and demand better performance,” he said. “But we must continue to believe in the possibility of a stronger, more united, and prosperous Nigeria.”
The President stressed that nation-building is a collective responsibility that demands patience, unity, and shared vision from both leaders and citizens. He noted that meaningful progress often requires tough decisions, reforms, and policies that may not always enjoy immediate popularity.
