The political landscape in Ogun State has been shaken by major realignments as former Senator Prof. Iyabo Obasanjo formally returns to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while influential APC chieftain Elder Joju Fadairo openly endorses Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu (LADO) for the 2027 governorship race.
Senator Iyabo Obasanjo, daughter of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, recently resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing disrespect and unfair treatment by the party leadership.
