Popular Nigerian content creator and streamer, Carter Efe, has responded to viral claims made by influencer Kolu accusing him of abandoning him financially and excluding him from shows.
The controversy erupted after Kolu, who is often seen in Carter Efe’s livestreams, posted an emotional video complaining about his financial struggles and deteriorating relationship with the entertainer.
“I’m not happy. Everywhere isn’t good for me. Me and Carter Efe have parted ways. Carter doesn’t take me to shows again. It’s only Carter Efe making money. If I ask Carter Efe for money, he won’t give me,” Kolu said in the clip.

In his response, Carter Efe dismissed the allegations, revealing that he had given Kolu substantial financial support in recent times. According to him, he provided ₦1 million last week, ₦800,000 yesterday, and another ₦600,000 two days earlier.
Carter Efe further alleged that Kolu frequently spends money on women, regularly changes the colour of his cars, and is involved in smoking.

Despite expressing disappointment over the public outburst, Carter Efe stated that he would not abandon Kolu or retaliate, insisting he remains more reliable than some of the people Kolu associates with.
The back-and-forth has generated massive reactions online, with many users accusing Kolu of ingratitude while others argue he has the right to seek better opportunities.
